5 Steps to Your First $10K Month (For Women Who Are Done Playing Small)

I remember the moment I realized that a first $10K month is not created by one brilliant idea.

It is created by a decision.

A decision to stop treating your business like a side project. A decision to stop hiding behind preparation. A decision to become the woman who can confidently lead, sell, serve, and receive at a higher level.

Your first $10K month is not a get-rich-quick promise. It is a turning point.

It is where your identity begins to match the future you keep saying you want.

I have watched ambitious women work hard for years while remaining stuck at the same income level. They have talent. Experience. Brilliant ideas. But their decisions are still shaped by fear, underpricing, inconsistency, and the belief that they must do more before they can earn more.

The shift begins when identity comes first and strategy follows.

Here are the five steps I use to help women move toward their first $10K month with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

Step One: Become The Woman Who Can Hold $10K

Before you create a new offer, launch another program, or increase your visibility, you must decide who you are becoming.

Your income often reflects the level of responsibility, visibility, and leadership you are willing to hold.

If you still see yourself as “just” a coach, consultant, freelancer, or service provider, you may continue making small-business decisions. You may hesitate to raise your prices. You may avoid following up. You may wait for permission to be seen as an authority.

I want you to begin seeing yourself as the CEO of a real business.

Not someday.

Now.

Ask yourself:

  • How does the woman who earns $10K months communicate?
  • What does she no longer tolerate?
  • What does she prioritize every week?
  • What decisions would she make if she fully trusted her value?

This does not mean pretending. It means practicing alignment.

A millionaire mindset for women is not about luxury for appearance’s sake. It is about ownership. It is about recognizing that your gifts, expertise, and vision are worthy of structure, investment, and compensation.

I often say:

“Your next level requires a new level of self-permission.”

Write down this statement and make it personal:

I am the woman who leads a profitable business with clarity, courage, and integrity.

Then make one decision this week from that identity. Raise a price. Set a boundary. Make the invitation. Speak about your work with greater authority.

Your strategy becomes stronger when your identity can support it.

Step Two: Create One Offer That Can Reach $10K

Your first $10K month does not require ten different offers.

It requires one clear transformation that people understand and want.

Many women are overwhelmed because they have created a complicated menu of services. They offer consulting, coaching, courses, workshops, memberships, bundles, and custom packages, but their ideal client still cannot explain what they do.

Clarity creates confidence.

Your offer should answer four questions:

  1. Who do you help?
  2. What problem do you solve?
  3. What result do you create?
  4. What is the investment?

A simple framework is:

I help [specific person] move from [current challenge] to [desired result] through [your signature method].

Then connect the offer to a realistic revenue model:

  • Five clients at $2,000
  • Four clients at $2,500
  • Two clients at $5,000
  • Ten clients at $1,000

The numbers are not the strategy by themselves. They are a way to see what is possible.

Your price should reflect the value of the transformation, not only the hours you spend delivering it. If you help a business owner increase confidence, improve operations, attract better clients, or create a more profitable model, you are not selling minutes on a calendar.

You are helping her move into a new reality.

That requires a meaningful offer, strong delivery, and an investment that honors the result.

When I work with women through business coaching for women, I encourage them to simplify before they expand. One signature offer. One ideal client. One clear result.

You do not need more confusion.

You need a compelling invitation.

Step Three: Build Visibility Through Meaningful Relationships

You cannot sell what people do not know exists.

This sounds simple, but visibility often becomes the place where ambitious women retreat. They overthink the caption. They wait for perfect branding. They tell themselves they need a new website, a larger audience, or a more polished strategy before they can be seen.

You do not need to be everywhere.

You need to be visible to the right people with a message they can remember.

Choose one or two primary platforms. Then create content that consistently does three things:

  • Shows what you know
  • Names the problem your audience is experiencing
  • Invites people toward a meaningful next step

Your content should not only educate. It should create recognition.

Your ideal client should read your words and think, “She understands exactly where I am.”

I also believe visibility is deeply relational. A business grows through conversations, referrals, partnerships, community, and trust. Join rooms where ambitious women are already gathering. Attend intentional networking events. Follow up after meaningful conversations. Make introductions.

This is one reason I created Her Business Retreat. Transformation happens faster when you are surrounded by women who understand your ambition and are willing to challenge your next level.

A simple weekly visibility rhythm could include:

  • Three valuable posts
  • Five thoughtful conversations
  • One direct invitation
  • One networking experience
  • One follow-up block

Consistency builds familiarity. Familiarity builds trust. Trust creates opportunity.

You do not need to chase attention.

You need to cultivate connection.

Step Four: Sell With Confidence And Consistency

This is where many brilliant women stop.

They show up. They teach. They encourage. They provide value. But they do not clearly ask people to work with them.

Your first $10K month requires you to become comfortable making offers.

Not desperate offers. Not aggressive offers. Clear offers.

Selling is not convincing someone to buy something they do not need. Selling is helping the right person understand what is possible and decide whether your solution is the right fit.

Create a simple sales process:

  1. Invite the conversation.
  2. Ask thoughtful questions.
  3. Listen for the real challenge.
  4. Connect your offer to the desired result.
  5. State the investment clearly.
  6. Invite a decision.
  7. Follow up with professionalism.

You may say:

“Based on what you shared, I believe this offer can help you move forward. The investment is $2,500. Would you like to begin?”

Then pause.

You do not need to fill the silence with explanations or discounts.

Your confidence grows through repetition. The first invitation may feel uncomfortable. The tenth will feel more natural. Eventually, you will understand that offering your work is an act of service.

This is also where mindset coaching for women becomes powerful. You can know your strategy and still hesitate to receive money. You can have an excellent offer and still apologize for the price.

That is why your internal work matters.

You are not asking for a favor.

You are presenting an opportunity.

Step Five: Create Systems That Make Growth Repeatable

Your first $10K month is exciting.

But the real goal is not to create one extraordinary month followed by exhaustion. The goal is to build a business that can support consistent growth without requiring you to reinvent everything each time.

Systems protect your energy.

Start with the essentials:

  • A clear inquiry process
  • A booking link
  • A simple proposal or agreement
  • A payment process
  • An onboarding checklist
  • A consistent client experience
  • A follow-up system
  • A monthly review of your numbers

Document what you repeat.

What happens after someone says yes? What information do you send? How do you welcome a new client? What steps create the result? What can eventually be delegated?

You do not need a complicated technology stack. You need a business that is easy to understand and easy to operate.

At the end of every month, review:

  • What sold?
  • What created the strongest results?
  • Where did leads come from?
  • Which activities created revenue?
  • What needs to be simplified?
  • What needs to be priced differently?

This is where strategy catches up with identity.

The woman who earns $10K is not only willing to dream bigger. She is willing to measure, refine, and lead with discipline.

That is how one month becomes a foundation.

Your First $10K Month Begins With One Decision

Your first $10K month will not come from doing everything.

It will come from doing the right things with greater belief, focus, and consistency.

This is the practical side of wealth mindset coaching: learning to make decisions that honor your value while creating real results for the people you serve.

You are not behind.
